I was having problems with my printing of certain documents. That problem then became worse when I tried to fix it on my own. About a third of my home page was blacked out and I could not see my icons. After 2 weeks of dealing with this, I phoned Friendly Computers. Drew was very professional and friendly in his approach. Because of malware, they were unable to remote into my computer so I took it in to their Sullivan office. Lucas dropped everything he was doing to take a look. Within 10 minutes he was able to clear the problem, remove the malware, and explain the problem. I was fortunate to have a subscription for Avast Security with Friendly Computers, otherwise it could have been more serious. Lucas was not sure if he was able to fix the printer problem, I had to wait and try it at home. As it turned out, the printer problem was fixed with the removal of malware. I highly recommend their services. Best part was there was no charge for their time and effort.

I’m a old-school ‘user’ focused on using the tools to make things. I don’t understand the latest system technologies.
For me, the transition from Win 10 to 11 been very long, difficult, and with very high anxiety. I thought 30 years of irreplaceable working documents, records and data was lost in the upgrade. They found and restored it all.

It seems it’s getting rare to find folks who actually know what they are talking about. And to me, ‘Friendly’ means make it work and helping me understand what I need to know to keep using it well. They have done that for me here.
